Mask "Volto"
The mask "Volto" or "larva" refers to ghosts. This mask I bought in Venice as a blank mask to decorate it at my own artistic style.
The "Volto" mask is worn with great effect with costumes during the Venetian carnival. Very popular as a wall decoration, like any other kind of mask.
Mask "Zanni"
The "Columbina" mask came to us from the 15th century and translates from Italian as "little dove." Columbina is the most popular mask among women. The blank mask was manually crafted out of leather by a Venetian master.
My work on this mask was to create and implement a unique design and optical effect of multi-layer texture. This, not the classic design of Columbina did not deprive the mask of elasticity. Therefore, it can be used not only for interior decoration but also directly for its original functional purpose.
